I'm Kevin. I run KRS Advisory from the Sunshine Coast, working with sole traders and small businesses across the region.
Ten years in financial services taught me something that still bothers me: good businesses get into trouble for reasons that have nothing to do with the work they do. The trade is solid, the customers are happy, but nobody has looked at the numbers in six months. The tax bill lands as a surprise, and by the time anyone's paying attention the options have run out.
That's avoidable. It's why I started this business — not to hand over a set of accounts once a year, but to give you a clear picture of where you stand each month. What's coming, what you owe, and what it means for the decision in front of you.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting). The qualification matters less than what it lets me do with it: build a set of numbers properly, work out what they're actually telling you, and explain it in language you can use on a Tuesday morning.
I also work after hours, so you don't have to choose between a day's earnings and a conversation about your numbers.
